SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Offering utility assistance to Oklahomans who are behind on their utility bills. Recipients must enroll in a budgeting class. Able to assist the first 8-10 recipients each Monday morning at 8 am BY PHONE CALLS only.
SERVICE HOURS:Monday mornings 8 am - 8:30 am ONLY
INTAKE PROCEDURE:Must call Monday morning at 8 am. Only able to take the first 8-10 callers each Monday morning. Clients should hang up and continue calling if they get a busy signal, or any automated message or a voicemail until you get a live operator. DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, THEY WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Appointments are usually filled by 8:30 am.
FEES:None
ELIGIBILITY:Must have a past due/cut off notice utility bill, but must NOT be disconnected. May also be able to assist with deposits.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:Must have a current copy of utility bill, proof of current & identifiable income and valid personal identification.
