CAREER LAUNCH

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Career Launch encourages adolescents to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions. Staff and volunteers work with teens individually or in small groups to build their job-search skills and job readiness. Provides a website which offers online career exploration and college and job search information and interactive activities. Also offers mentoring and job shadowing opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY:Adolescents age 13 to 18.

INTAKE PROCEDURE:Call, walk-in, write.

FEES:Inclusive with Boys & Girls Clubs' $15 annual membership fee.

HOURS:Vary.

LANGUAGES:English, Hmong, Spanish.
