SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Provides a number of bicycle safety programs, including basic information on riding a bike to school safely, an equipment overview, safety checking a bike, and mechanical information. Classes may include demonstrations with bicycles provided. Classes can be customized for particular groups.
HOW SERVICE IS PROVIDED:On-site
WHO QUALIFIES:Classes appropriate for ages 10 and older. Serves Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina counties.
HOURS OF SERVICE:Varies as scheduled. Basic class is 45 minutes.
FEES:Fixed fee. Additional fees apply if program includes use of organization's bikes.
HOW TO ACCESS:Call and leave a message or speak with staff to arrange. Need one month's notice to schedule.

SITE DESCRIPTION:Provides a cooperative bike education center. Takes donations of bicycles. Teaches bicycle repair, bicycle safety and bike handling. Provides a program where youth may learn about bicycling safety, repair, and maintenance and earn a bicycle through their labor.

TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS:Located about half a mile west of downtown Cleveland in the Flats on the west side of the street (on the left if facing downtown), in a brick and metal building between the railroad tracks and the Columbus Road bridge.
